Hey one and all!
I am posting two new juice recipes that we will be incorporating in the menu for the following week. They are the morning blush and sweet leaf juices and they are da bomb!!!!
We have not stopped going on about these at our house and I am seriously swooning over the morning blush. It's bright, sweet, with a nice balanced tang, and she looks mighty purdy!
Each recipe makes 2 portions so I highly recommend you share with someone you love, this can be yourself if sharing is too hard this time around. ;)
MORNING BLUSH JUICE:
Serves 2
Ingredients:
2 Carrots
2 Oranges
2 Grapefruits
2 Apples
Knob of ginger
1/2 Lime
Method:
-Run all through juicer and enjoy!
The second recipe is great for clearing up skin, just a warning.
If you have toxins in your system this juice will get them out but you will have breakouts as it expels them. Just keep including it and you will see an improvement quickly. Do not get upset, down, or say mean things to yourself. It is a process and this is, after all a time of detox-getting the old yuckie stuff out. Be happy that it's something on the outbound train, you gleefully shoved out.
SWEET LEAF JUICE
Serves 2
Ingredients:
3 Apples
1/2 English cucumber, peeled
1-2 Stalks celery
A Handful of grapes
1/4 Bulb of fennel
6 Mint leaves
Method: Run all through juicer and enjoy!
I know it has no leaves but the colour made me think of pretty leaves and buds in the spring.
